Comment:	General Maximino Hipolito Hizon was the liberator of Pampanga (from the Spaniards). When the Americans invaded, he was one of those given by Aguinaldo the difficult task of liberating Manila from the new aggressors. He was captured in 1901 and deported to Guam where he died of beri-beri.
